The rules of the road.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using IAMDRIVER ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These terms apply to free and DRIVER+ users. IAMDRIVER is operated by Lukas ("we", "us", or "our").
What IAMDRIVER Is
IAMDRIVER records drives on this iPhone. It draws the route, distance, time, speed, and elevation, keeps a garage of cars, and lets you share a story image or publish a drive to a public profile.
The App is a record of a drive you already took. It is not a turn-by-turn navigation product, and it does not promise that a route, speed, or map is accurate. You are responsible for driving safely and for following the law. Do not interact with the App in a way that takes your attention off the road.
DRIVER+
A free account can save one drive. DRIVER+ is a paid auto-renewable subscription that removes that limit and lets you keep more than one car.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings, under Subscriptions.
- Deleting your IAMDRIVER account does not cancel the App Store subscription.
- We do not give refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it.
- Prices can change with reasonable notice. Apple shows the price before you confirm.
Apple handles billing. We do not store your card number. Subscription status is checked through RevenueCat.
Account and data
The App creates an anonymous account when you start. You do not need an email address. Your drives, cars, and profile are stored under that account.
Photos, videos, and notes you add to a drive stay on this iPhone. They are not uploaded.
You can delete the account and its IAMDRIVER data from You, Privacy & Data. That returns the App to the beginning on this phone. It does not cancel DRIVER+.
Public profile
If you choose a username and publish a drive, that username and that drive can be seen by other people who use IAMDRIVER. Do not publish anything you do not have the right to share. We may remove a public profile or a published drive that breaks these terms or the law.
Usage rules
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source code of the App, except where the law allows it.
- Use the App for anything unlawful.
- Circumvent DRIVER+ or the free-drive limit.
- Use automated tools to scrape the App or other people's public profiles.
- Upload or publish content that infringes someone else's rights.
Ownership
The App, its design, and its text belong to Lukas and are protected by intellectual property laws. Maps are provided by Mapbox and include OpenStreetMap data. Your drives, notes, photos, and videos remain yours. You give us permission to store and, if you publish a drive, to show the published drive and its route so the feature can work.
No warranty
The App is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, that GPS or maps will be exact, or that a drive will record if location or motion access is off. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost drives, inaccurate stats, or how you drive.
Minimum age
IAMDRIVER is for people aged 17 and older. By using the App you confirm that you are at least 17. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the latest version. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the new terms.
