Our Approach to Privacy

FlopIQ is built to require as little personal information as possible. You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personal details to use the App.

Data Collected

The following information is collected when you use FlopIQ:

• Anonymous User ID — automatically generated by Firebase when you install the App. This is a random identifier with no connection to your identity.
• Learning Progress — lessons completed, exercise scores, accuracy stats, and iteration progress. Stored to power your personal training plan.
• Purchase History — whether you have an active subscription, managed via RevenueCat. No payment details are stored by us.
• App Usage Data — screen views and interaction events collected via Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the App is used and improve it.
• Crash Reports — anonymous crash and error data via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal identifying information.

Purpose of Data Collection

All data collected is used exclusively for:

• Saving and syncing your learning progress across sessions
• Verifying your subscription status to unlock premium content
• Improving the App based on aggregate usage patterns
• Identifying and fixing crashes and errors

Data is never used for advertising, sold to third parties, or shared with any party for marketing purposes.

Services We Use

FlopIQ relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics) — data processing by Google LLC. Firebase Privacy Policy

Where Your Data Lives

Your progress and anonymous ID are stored in Google Firebase servers. Firebase operates data centers globally; your data may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where Google operates infrastructure.

Some data is also stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, allowing the App to function without a constant internet connection.

Data Deletion & Control

You have full control over your data:

• Delete your data — available directly in the App under Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all data from Firebase and creates a fresh anonymous session.
• Data portability — you may request a copy of your data by contacting us at the email below.
• GDPR / CCPA — if you are a resident of the EU or California, you have additional rights including the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Cross-App Tracking

FlopIQ does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or any cross-app tracking technology. No ATT (App Tracking Transparency) prompt will ever appear in FlopIQ.

Users Under 17

FlopIQ is not directed at users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect any data from users under 17. If you believe a user under 17 has provided data through the App, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
